I think canada's economy is collapsing day-by-day.There is alot of unemployment and it has more than enough immigrant form all over the world.

Your comment is timely as I am just researching an article that previews Canadian trade in 2007. It's not a pretty picture.

First, I'm concerned about Canada's high dependence on exports to the U.S. As America slows down, Canada continues to be adversely affected.

Second, why can't Canadian politicians negotiate stronger trade relationships selling Canada's rich resources to the fast-growing BRIC nations?

And as you suggest, there is a strong migration of jobs from Canada to developing nations.

My relief from these dark clouds comes from the fact that my investments in BRIC nations (in particular China) are booming.
