» habs25 - starbucks vs. starbocks

I can see why Starbucks would claim infringement in the Russian case, but for the little guy making beer? C'mon, there is no confusion. I think Starbock is a clever name and besides, why associate yourself with Starbucks coffee? Its quality is second rate regardless of the high profile!

Starbucks hires legal top guns that will vigorously fight any potential infringement on its world-leading brand. Whether there has been an actual infringement - well, that's for the courts to decide. Sadly the wheels of justice turn slowly and are prohibitively expensive for smaller businesses.
