Considering that the Chinese market is very large and that this is a rather serious case, a fine of just $87,000 seems rather meagre.

In response to Considering that the Chinese market is very large and that this posted by dantilles:

Yes, I'm sure that the Chinese lawyers make and will continue to make many times the paltry settlement. Rather than a financial settlement, FERRARO may have been focusing more on drawing a line in the sand for any other copycats out there. In general, Chinese are much more fearful of lawsuits and going to court (think Tiananmen Square) than much more litigious North Americans.
