Russian imports from the U.S. rose 27% to $10.1 billion in 2006, up 97% since 2002.
In terms of the merchandise flow between the two countries, America’s trade deficit with Russia was $15.1 billion in 2006, up 237% from 2002. The U.S. trade deficit with Russia increased 32.9% in 2006 – up from the 27% deficit increase in 2005 from the year earlier.
