Civilian aircraft and alcoholic beverages are among major Polish exports to the U.S. while leading American imports from Poland include military aircraft & equipment.

With a population of 38.5 million, Poland exported US$2.3 billion worth of merchandise to the United States in 2006, up 15.7% from 2005 and up 103.4% in 4 years.

Polish imports from the U.S. rose 54.6% to $2 billion in 2006, up 185.7% since 2002.

In terms of the merchandise flow between the two countries, America’s trade deficit with Poland was a relatively small $294,160 in 2006, down 30% from 2002. The U.S. trade deficit with Poland increased 56.8% in 2006 – down from the 23.7% deficit increase in 2005 from the year earlier.
